Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Virtugenic LLC ("Synthri", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use the Synthri mobile application and related services (the "Services"). By using Synthri, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: email address and password when you create an account.
  • Profile information: birth year, sex assigned at birth, height, weight.
  • Lab data: photos and PDFs of lab reports you choose to upload, and the biomarkers extracted from them.
  • Habit data: any optional information you log about sleep, exercise, diet, or other lifestyle factors.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version for debugging.
  • Usage data: anonymous statistics about how features are used (e.g. number of labs uploaded).
  • Crash logs: diagnostic information when the app crashes, used to fix bugs.

What we do NOT collect

  • We do not connect to your doctor, hospital, healthcare provider, or insurance company.
  • We do not access data from Epic, Cerner, MyChart, or other electronic health records.
  • We do not collect Social Security numbers, payment card data (other than what Apple/Google handle for in-app purchases), or contact lists.
  • We do not use third-party advertising trackers or social pixels.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Synthri service.
  • To extract biomarkers from your uploaded lab reports using AI.
  • To generate educational interpretations of your biomarkers.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Processing

When you upload a lab report, Synthri sends the image and (when applicable) extracted biomarker data to Anthropic, our AI service provider, for analysis. Anthropic processes this data solely to return the extraction and interpretation results back to Synthri. Anthropic does not use your health data to train AI models, and they retain the data only as long as needed to provide the service. You can read Anthropic's policies at anthropic.com/privacy.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as follows:

  • Service providers: with vendors who help us operate (Supabase for data storage, Anthropic for AI, Vercel for our website). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
  • Legal requirements: if required by law, court order, or government request.
  • Business transfers: if Virtugenic LLC is acquired or merges with another entity, your data may transfer as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent: if you specifically authorize sharing for any other purpose.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, which uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Your lab files are stored in a private bucket where only you and our backend services can access them. Account access is protected by password authentication.

No system is perfectly secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access: view your data anytime by signing in to the app.
  • Delete: tap "Delete Account" in Settings to permanently delete all your data, including stored files. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
  • Export: contact us at support@synthri.com to request a copy of your data.
  • Withdraw consent: stop using Synthri and delete your account at any time.

7. State-Specific Rights

Washington's My Health My Data Act applies to consumer health data. We do not share or sell your consumer health data without your consent. You may withdraw consent and request deletion at any time.
